Sinfonia was founded at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA on October 6, 1898 with a total of 13 Charter Members. Our founder Ossian Everett Mills, was alive from 1856-1920 and exemplified our Object. And starting from giving out flowers, our Mills Music Mission, came about to share the healing powers of music.
